Wot’s Occurring
A mid-golden session bitter with a lasting, bubbly white head, bitter sweet grassy, citrus taste and a subtle floral malty aroma finish. This beer has won 4 awards including a Silver in 2013 from the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA), 2010, 2012 CAMRA champion beer of Britain finalists and a Gold in 2011 at the Derby City Charter Festival.
Welland Valley Mild
A dark and flavoursome mild with a slight roast taste and a frothy off white head. It has aromas of chocolate, caramel, coffee, and dark fruits. It tastes, smooth and semi-dry with a chocolate brownie bitterness and hints of vanilla. Winner of 6 Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) cask beer awards, including 2 Golds, a Silver and 3 Bronze from 2008 until 2016.
Tiffield Thunderbolt
A pale beer brewed with two different New Zealand hops. A thirst-quenching delight that won the overall Silver Award in the National Independent Beer Awards in March 2017, and Gold in the SIBA Midlands Regional Competition 2016.
Tailshaker
Tailshaker is our premium extra special bitter (ESB). It is a complex, full bodied, rich golden pale ale with a great depth of flavour and a floral hop finish that is very moreish.
Gobble
Gobble is a rich, golden, straw-coloured beer. Floral, crisp, hoppy and nutty with a large smack of hops at the end giving a fantastic taste sensation. It has won Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards in 2016, 2011 and 2010 from both SIBA and CAMRA.
Delapre Dark
Delapre Dark is an old dark mahogany ale with a full flavour and a thin lasting creamy beige head. The ale is made from 5 different malts and has a medium sweet flavour with a chocolate bitterness, consisting of baking cocoa and dark fruits. Winning a Bronze in 2011 at the Society of Independant Brewers (SIBA), Bronze in 2010 at The Great British Beer Festival and another Bronze SIBA in 2006.
Abbey Stout
An exemplary dark rich stout with a lasting loose tan head. Brewed with generous amounts of roast barley and German hops, expect an aroma of woodland, coffee and ash. The flavour is sweet and spicy, over herbal hops with a hint of coffee and a gorgeous blackberry sweetness which creeps in around the start of the sip, but finishing bitter and dry.
Egret
A new brew introduced in 2017, Egret is a pale, gold beer brewed with 5 different American and New Zealand Hops. It is named after the pair of Egrets that land in the field opposite our brewery every day.
Wagtail
A straw coloured bitter derived from New Zealand hops. A unique floral and hoppy aroma with notes of Turkish delight to taste. This beer has been winning awards since 2007 when it was first awarded ‘Best Beer of Festival’ at the CAMRA Herts and Essex Borders beer festival. It has since gone on to win 2 Golds in 2013 and 2015 from SIBA and CAMRA.
